1. What we collect

When you use ProfileBoost.app, we collect:

• —Your email address — used to deliver your results and check for an active Pro Pass.
• —Profile screenshots you upload — used solely to generate your AI analysis.
• —Your bio text and prompt answers — if you choose to paste them into the form.
• —Payment information — processed entirely by Paddle. We never see or store your card details.
• —Basic server logs (IP address, timestamps) — for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• —Usage analytics — page views, clicks, and anonymized session replays via PostHog, used to understand and improve the product. Form inputs (email, bio text) are masked in replays.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• —Generate your AI profile analysis.
• —Deliver your results to your email address.
• —Verify and manage your Pro Pass subscription.
• —Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.

We do not sell your data or use your photos, bio, or analysis results for advertising. If we run ads, we measure their performance with aggregated conversion events (see Cookies below) — never with the content you upload.

3. Data retention

Your uploaded photos are automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload. Your written analysis results are kept so you can revisit them via your results link. Email addresses are retained for as long as needed to manage your account and Pro Pass. You may request deletion of your results and email at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• —Anthropic Claude — AI analysis engine. Your images and text are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies.
• —Paddle — Payment processing. Your payment data is handled entirely by Paddle and never touches our servers.
• —PostHog — Product analytics and anonymized session replay (with inputs masked).
• —Meta (Facebook) Pixel — Ad conversion measurement, if you arrived via one of our ads.
• —Resend — Sends your receipt and results-link emails.
• —Hetzner / Cloudflare — Hosting infrastructure.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We share data only with the service providers listed above, strictly as necessary to operate the service.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• —Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• —Request deletion of your data.
• —Opt out of any future communications.

7. Cookies

We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage to preserve your analysis ID and upload progress across page navigations. We also use analytics cookies: PostHog sets a cookie to recognize returning visitors, and the Meta Pixel sets cookies to measure ad conversions. These are used in aggregate to improve the product and measure advertising — never to sell or share your personal content.
